Darralu has a wide range of experience in grant review and grant making, management of multi-site corporate volunteer and grant-making committees, resource development, marketing, volunteer resources and communications in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She has shared her experience with nonprofits, foundations, and corporations on a local and national level.
Darralu has managed corporate community affairs committees for a national foundation, developed multi-state corporate giving programs, and served as a grants advisor to national foundations and corporations. She has managed the integration of development planning, foundation and corporate grant applications, annual campaigns and membership development for numerous nonprofits throughout the Twin Cities.
Her expertise includes developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies that include internal and external newsletters, media handling, annual reports, committee guides.
She also has experience as a copy editor and proof reader.
Darralu served as Chair of the Program Committee for the 2000 Minnesota Statewide Conference on Volunteerism, and was a Program Committee member for the 2002 Conference on Volunteerism. She has also served on the Executive Committee of the Corporate Volunteerism Council of the Twin Cities.
